In the last DnD session, the party ran into a religious cult group who needed a sacrifice for a ritual. Salami happened to be the perfect candidate, but the party retaliated with battle. The leader of the ritual happened to be no other than Salami's ex-boyfriend, Bartholomew, so Salami refused to fight. Kipp, with her hurdy gurdy, put Bartholomew to sleep and Johan had taken cover behind Salami's giant body. He pulled out a light ring found previously on the journey, invoking the image of the Messiah from his holy readings. This entranced the knights and priests to stand down in battle, allowing the party to capture Bartholomew. Now that information of the "Messiah" has spread, Salami has control over a cult army with Johan as his adviser.
