Inkvember2018 - Day 5

Prompt: Chicken
Back while Tunic was roasting live man, across town Sarah had killed a sheep and taken over the sheep herd. He wore the dead sheep's skin and uncovered his talent of speaking sheep. Nearby was a tavern where the captain was drinking with his soldiers, the powerful army that burned through any town in its path. A few intoxicated men were talking about the story of Sheepa, a sheep god who haunted and spoke the people's language, when Sarah scurried up to the window and tapped. The soldiers were terrified but ran out to investigate anyway, even more shocked when they discovered that this "sheep" spoke their language. The captain came outside to the commotion and was amused at the sheep at first. Unknown to him, Sarah had hidden his arrows in his sheep minions' fur and commanded them to strike, but the arrows fell limp. The two armies fought, many sheep died, but Sarah was victorious in the end.
